Abstract

This paper studies a book of traces of an architects' family originally from Jaca (Huesca). This is a manuscript prepared by some members of the Tornés' saga which contains interesting elevations, sections and building plans of the Alto Aragón, as well as numerous designs, sketches, plans, architectural drawings and stylish test. The seventy-one pages of this manuscript make it possible to establish a clear link with the architectural treatises of its time, especially with Giacomo Barozzi Vignola's ‘Regola delli cinque ordini d'architettura’ published in 1562 from whom these architects copied twenty-four pages in the taccuino that are studying.
