Nuevas aportaciones documentales sobre la capilla de los Herrera, conocida como capilla de los Frías, y otros linajes vinculados a la Cartuja de El Paular

Abstract

This present article is the continuation from another work published in the last issue of this same magazine. Now, on the one land, some inedit documental data about the fundation, patronate and history of San Ildefonso chapel, exclusive mausoleum of the Herrera in the monastery of Santa Maria de El Paular; is presented with the aim of illuminating the actual relationship between the dukes of Frías and the chapel. On the other hand, following in the steps of our previous article, we explore the connections of some others lineages with the Cartuja, as it is the case of the Pimentel, counts of Benavente.
