Abstract
The specialty of the madrilian painters of the XVII century, the organization of their workshops and the complexity of certain of their jobs, started the cooperation between masters, painters and pupils, as well as independent painters. The objective of this article is to analize a series of paintings of the main Altar in the church of Santa Maria de Gumiel del Mercado (Burgos), which were done around 1683-1684. Through them we will see Perez's personality as a painter as well as go in depth of some of the garlands that have some resemblance with paintings from Jan Brueghel de Velours, Daniel Seghers and Mario Nuzzi, this so we can prove the point we stated earlier in regards with the collaboration of "Maestros", Perez to be more precise, with other contemporary painters.
