Abstract
In this article, I will try to show the pictorical aspects in the work of Teodoro Ardemans. This artist has been studied as an architect, but his first formation was in the workshops of important painters like Antonio de Pereda and Claudio Coello. His paintings and the presence of these in his works, can to contribute to better knowledge of the artistic environment in Madrid, in the last year of the 17th century and the first third of 18th century.
