El tratado de carpintería y ebanistería de André-Jacob Roubo y los extractos publicados por el conde de Campomanes en 1776

Abstract

The treatise on joinery and cabinetmaking of the French craftsman André-lacob Roubo entitled "L'Art du Menuisier", published in Paris between 1769 and 1775, is considered to be the most complete work of reference of the 18th century on the manufacture of furniture and other woodworks. The aim of this article is to reveal the abstracts which the economist and enlightened politician Pedro Rodríguez de Campomanes published in Spain in 1776 about that treatise.
