Abstract
The aim of this article is to perform an exegesis of science and technology in Martin Heidegger?s thought. This article will present the relationship between Modernity, Metaphysics and “Image of the World”; as well as the emergence of Das Gestell. The analysis is based upon the idea that there is a continuum from the thesis of the “is-ought” problem to the questioning of the essence of technology.
