Issue 4 of CRRAC magazine presents in its Tribute section three articles dedicates to Benito Pérez Galdós on de occasion of the first centenary of his death. These articles highlight the links between the Canarian author and his position in 20th century Spanish public life, clearly a defender of the Republic as a political system that cannot be postponed for the development of the country.

Articles on literature included in this number 4 of CRRAC are dedicated to Max Aub's Theater, and Luisa Carnés' works from a class and gender perspective.

In the Culture and Science section, two texts are presented with very different subjects. On the one hand, the librery of the Residencia de Señoritas, and on the other an analysis of the magazine Mujer and its work as a defender and disseminator of a republican feminism.
