Abstract

This article shows a brief idea of the historical development of christian-arabic literature. This literature is mainly made up of translations (the most important text is the arabic version of the Bible) and original arabic works (theologycal texts basically). Its most splendid period goesfrom 9th century to thefirst half of 15th century.
