Résumé
This paper, based, like always that is posible, in original documents, wants recount, and to give an account of several travels of Spanish scholars, diplomatic people and travellers in general to the Near East in the nineteen and eighteen centuries. Like in others camps of the Spanish History and Historiography, high-level personages by their work and resultants aren't know by the public, and we pretend here to display, any part at least, of the adventure by them carry on.
People like Gabriel de Aristizabal, Domingo Badía, J.V. Abarguez de Sosten, M. Martínez de la Escalera or Adolfo Rivadeneyra, went through the Near East lands, and placed of record the route and the mission that motivated the travel. In this lines I want to show evidence, and start to value, rightly, their work.
