Abstract

The forms of global, regional and micro-regional governance have opened a deliberative space for the study of glocal dynamcis, as a result of the growth of both non-governmental actors as well as the needs of civil society. From this point of view, one may speak of a process of regional integration that is at a crossroads between success and failure, which depends on global governance presented in its horizontal and vertical forms and, in turn, together with the importance of regional crises that can have effects at the global level. On the other hand, achieving successful regional integration can be an advantage at the global level, in the case of the Peace Missions of the United Nations in Ivory Coast and in Mali.
