Claiming the importance of researching the reception of mythology in our contemporary society from a feminist perspective, the Journal of Feminist, Women and Gender Studies is calling for original contributions for a forthcoming monographic issue, which aims to be published later this year. The focus of this monographic issue will be mainly to compile various scientific articles, from multiple disciplines, dealing with gender studies in contemporary representations of ancient, medieval and modern myths in Madrid, Spain, Europe and Ibero-America.

We invite all those interested in participating in this monograph, which will be the 19th issue of our journal, to send their manuscripts, in Spanish or English, before 30 May 2025. The publication of this issue is scheduled for December 2025.
