Abstract
The general idea developed in this essay is that, when some expressions are used to argue about terrorism, it is necesary to contextualize this use within a cognitive frame. That the election of certain ways of speaking implies the introduction in the argumentation of certain conceptual configurations that, within the argumentative practice, work as implicit or unexpressed premises. When someone accepts the use of those expressions, or agrees with the use made by the speaker, she is not only sharing to some extent the view or perspective about the issue, but also allowing those frames to function as valid starting points in the subsequent argumentation
