Abstract
When we refer to physical activity and/or sport, the first thing that comes to mind is that of an elitist, agonistic and exclusive practice. The value of competition and the desire to win is an unquestionable and priority objective in the physical-sports field. On the contrary, we rarely stop to think that after practicing physical activity or sport, a social and personal component may prevail. As in today's society and in each of the elements that compose it, value is given to performance, leaving the process lived in the background. From this initial reflection we consider whether it is possible to achieve a physical activity and sport that does not create gaps or discrimination, and that favors the social inclusion of people regardless of their sex, gender, identity, origin, culture, resources, etc. In short, we are talking about everyone having the same opportunities and rights, facilitating their participation and seeking their social and economic inclusion; educational; cultural; political and community If we focus on physical activity and sport, this potential increases by creating affective bonds between people, promoting their health and well-being, and promoting an education in values that facilitates and teaches teamwork and respect for other people. . However, this is not always possible, especially if the groups and individuals we are targeting encounter barriers and challenges that prevent them from enjoying the benefits of physical activity and sport.
