Abstract
An equitable and quality education has the ethical imperative to guarantee the access, full participation and integral development of each and every student, regardless of gender, culture, social class, nationality, mother tongue or ability. But this is not enough, it is also necessary to contribute to social transformation, to the achievement of a more just, democratic and inclusive society. Indeed, the crisis and globalization are making inequality and injustice exacerbate worldwide. While a few increasingly accumulate more wealth, the number of people is increasing below the poverty line; the differences between the rich north and the poor south increase. In this way, it is increasingly necessary to fight against these inequities, and education is undoubtedly a privileged instrument for this.Downloads
