Abstract

The education of moral and civic values is helped forward by the «cross-curricular» themes in a very special way. Taken this education as one aiming at bringing up people (either by drawing out their talents or putting in instruction) capable of building their own system of values in a rational and autonomous way and, based on them, also capable of facing up to reality in which it has fallen to their lot to live.
Our school belongs to both the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Defense. Given this and due to the socio-cultural features of its environment, it has been agreed on those values of Peace, Solidarity and Tolerance to work on the aforementioned cross-curricular issue.
