In this work a system aimed at the assessment and training of learning strategies is described. First, the scales of the inventory and the topics covered in the program are presented. Then a pilot study carried out with students of the Universidad Autónoma is presented, and its results, showing significants gains in learning strategies use, discussed. Finally, some suggestions arising from these results are made which are being followed in the groups presently taking the training program.
