Abstract

Learning Mathematics is a difficult task, therefore it is required to stimulate all intellecrual potential students passess. This potencial is not only that logical-formal but also intuitive and dialectic. It is also suggested in the article that Mathematics teachers should have a historical and epistemological training if they want to improve their teaching. The process of mathematical production is a rich source of ideas when trying to renew the tradicional methods.
