Considerations about Environmental Education: Society, Economy and Environment

Abstract

Environmental Education needs redefining and updating. This kind of instruction together with environment as a whole and its preservation have become consumer items. The result of this fact is clear and people are not aware of the bad consequences it brings. In this paper we propose a reflection on Environment and Environmental Education from a social point of view based on three basic aspects: the crisis of the current model, the analysis of the socioeconomic positions and the demographic component. From this position Environmental Education can be approached to make a better world.
