Abstract
This article focuses on metaphorical limits between art and reality in Spanish sculpture circa 1900. Three problems are studied: the realistic characterization of figures in relation with time (past/present) and space (real/historic); the elements of continuity between art and reality; and the pedestal as a virtual reality.
