In recent decades, the use of school gardens (SG) has been promoted as a teaching resource in various educational institutions, thus promoting the acquisition of knowledge in a more practical way and raising awareness of the acquisition of healthy habits and care for the environment. Therefore, the present work aims to know the possible benefits of an SG in schools located in the Autonomous Community of Madrid and their relationship with food education in schools. For this purpose, a questionnaire was collected from 49 teachers who teach at the Early Childhood or Primary Education stage. The results show that SG is one of the greatest educational resources in the center, with more interest and greater motivation to learn content related to it. In turn, it is related to improvements in food education, learning and care for the environment. However, sufficient training is necessary.
