Abstract
The work exposes, in the first place, the findings of three empirical investigations carried out in Uruguay between 2002 and 2005. The first one is part of the School Efficiency research movement and the other two in the School Improvement movement. Secondly, from the presentation of results, it is proposed to propose a dialogue between them that contributes to the development of the state of the art of both investigative traditions. Finally, it is sought to present a common body of knowledge extracted from the three investigations that contributes to the paradigm of the Improvement of School Effectiveness (ESI).Downloads
