Abstract
This review explores the work Studies on Hispanism in Algeria, coordinated by Salah Eddine Salhi and Ahmed Kaddour, and highlights its main academic contributions, introduces the voices that compose it and makes visible the interdisciplinary approaches that run through it. The volume offers an in-depth look at the history, teaching, translation and cultural diplomacy surrounding Spanish in Algeria, as well as its strategic and symbolic value in the Maghreb context. The review seeks to offer an overview of this collective work, which provides a renewed understanding of Hispanism from a situated, plural and contextualized view of the Algerian reality.
