La colonización de Kurdistán y las continuidades colonialistas en el conflicto turco-kurdo

Resumo
Este artículo muestra cómo el colonialismo otomano es heredado por el Estado turco, y de qué manera el conflicto turco-kurdo está moldeado por este colonialismo. Primero, explica las características del colonialismo otomano, como la destrucción de las administraciones autónomas, la aplicación de políticas lingüísticas asimilacionistas, la creación de regimientos tribales para controlar las regiones periféricas, la producción de un discurso civilizatorio, la explotación económica, las prácticas etnocidas y la asimilación religiosa. Posteriormente, muestra cómo estas prácticas son adoptadas por el Estado turco. Finaliza subrayando que una solución al conflicto turco-kurdo requiere un proceso de descolonización, así como una transformación político-administrativa.
