Abstract
Maghrebi Youth: Informality, Resistance, and Marginalization, edited by José Sánchez-García, examines the experiences of youth in Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia after the Arab Spring from an ethnographic and multidisciplinary perspective. The chapters reveal how Maghrebi youth transform precariousness and marginalization into resistance and new forms of political and social expression in spaces such as stadiums, markets, and digital networks. Offering a critical analysis of informality, gender, religiosity, and social mobilization, the book provides an essential reference for youth studies in contemporary Arab contexts and challenges simplifying discourses.
