Abstract

The purpose of this article is present a report of the Initial Training Program for the University Teachers (FIDU). This program was establishcd at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid by 1991/92. The article starts with the short history of this program, its design and elaboration, it continues with the development of the program and it finishes with its evaluation.
