The change of the Secondary School Study Plans in our country has made possible the beginning of new teaching experiences. The definition of a series of studies which should be approached from different fields has promoted interdisciplinarity and the necessity of formation and formulation of some new objectives. This work has been carried out within the projects of cooperation between University departments and High Schools departments being Education for Health its main goal. The group of students who constitute the sample have been, at the same time, subjects and agents of the study, analyzing, in a population of 100 males and 100 females aged from 14 to 17 years, items relative to their morphophisiology, as well as nutritional and non-healthy habits. In the present study the nutritional state and habits are mainly analyzed together with the incidence of undernutrition in young people in our country, differentiating by sex. On the other hand, the evolution of their hygienic-nutritional behaviour along the study, as they were getting more information, was also evaluated.
The results obtained reflect a differentiation in behaviour between girls and boys, showing that girls put into practice what they had learnt much more than boys. In both sexes a certain degree of undernutrition was observed, mainly in their oligoelements and minerals intakes, being especially important those referred to calcium and iron.
