Abstract

The study seeks to establish the socially acquired characteristics of the teachers, such as training, experience, career position, distribution through the school network, type of pedagogical methods used or titration, that can affect the performance of their students, considering the positions students. That is, it seeks to identify the characteristics of the teaching profession that can be associated with the reduction of differences in school performance among social groups.
