Abstract
Moroccan Other-Archives: History and Citizenship after State Violence is a revision of Morocco's history during the Years of Lead. The author connects the Amazigh question with Jewish emigration and political prisoners as part of a single phenomenon, with the common denominator of repression and silencing. To rewrite Morocco's history, he turns to cultural production, which he constructs as a kind of parallel archive in response to the absence of archives and the official amnesia surrounding what happened.
